Audition to be a part of our summer 2025 production – Wilkie Collins’s classic Victorian mystery The Woman in White, running from July 11 to 26 2025 with director Alyssa Marchbank. Auditions are available in-person through our online audition form (see below).

Auditions are open to those 18 and over.
In-person auditions:
Saturday, May 17th from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, and
Monday, May 19th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm

Before your audition:
Please prepare a monologue of no longer than 2 minutes. Cold readings will also be available.
Please fill out our digital audition form ahead of time and be sure to indicate which time slot or slots you are available. We will compile the responses into a final schedule and contact you about your scheduled audition time. Walk-ups are also welcome if time allows.

Available Roles
Walter Hartwright — male, early 20s. Drawing master who first meets the woman in white and later falls in love with his student Laura.
Viviana Pesca — female, 40s or older. Italian governess and friend of Walter who holds many secrets.
Anne Catherick — female, early 20s. The titular woman in white. A victim of all the adults in her life. Shares a close resemblance to Laura.
Marian Halcombe — female, late 20s/early 30s. Laura’s half-sister. Strong and highly intelligent.
Laura Fairlie — female, must look 21. Marian’s half-sister. Sweet and honest. She and Anne are close in appearance.
Frederick Fairlie — male, 50 plus. Eccentric and effete hypochondriac. Uncle and guardian of Laura.
Fanny — female, 30s or younger. Laura’s maid.
Mr. Gilmore — male, 40-60. Fairlie family lawyer and friend.
Mr. Merriman — male, any age. Unscrupulous lawyer.
Count Fosco — male, 40-50s. Charming, devious, and intelligent, someone you do not want for an enemy.
Countess Eleanor Fosco — female, 40s. The count’s wife and also aunt to Laura. She puts up an obedient facade to mask her true self.
Mrs. Vesey — female, 50 plus. Laura’s governess and family friend. Comedically out of touch.
Jane Catherick — female, 40-50. Anne’s mother. Social climber and cold, no motherly affection.
Sir Percival Glyde — male, 40s. Laura’s fiance. Broke baronet who can be charming when need be.
Mrs. Michelson — female, 40s plus. Affable housekeeper at Glyde’s estate who grows to question her employer.
Mrs. Clements — female, 50s plus. Former pastor’s wife, and a guardian angel of sorts to Anne.
Dr. Dawson — male, 30 plus. Country doctor of high morals, but not-so-high intelligence.
Mrs. Rubelle — female, any age. Spy for a secret organization; she takes on many faces.
Mrs. Demster — female, any age. New schoolteacher in Limmeridge.
Judge — male, any age. Presiding over Laura’s trial.
