The Allegheny Brass Band, in partnership with the Pittsburgh Savoyards, is pleased to announce The British Favorites, a concert of music by all-British composers and arrangers. The program includes a variety of musical selections that are sure to warm the cockles of late-winter hearts. Enjoy stirring marches, lyrical folk song suites, a selection of British sea songs and even a special tribute to Agent 007. The concert will also include Gilbert and Sullivan selections as a run-up to the Savoyards’ production of The Pirates of Penzance, which opens the following week. The concert is scheduled for March 16, 2022 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15. All proceeds from the concert will benefit the Pittsburgh Savoyards.

Audition to be a part of our Spring 2022 production – Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Pirates of Penzance, running from March 25 through April 10. With music director Guy Russo and stage director Robert Hockenberry. We will be auditioning for lead and ensemble roles. Auditions are available in-person or via video submission through our online audition form. Please note we are requiring performers to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to participate in this production.

Stage Auditions for The Imaginary Invalid
Audition to be a part of our Summer 2021 outdoor touring production – Molière’s The Imaginary Invalid, with stage director Robert Hockenberry. Performance dates are the last two weeks of July and the first week of August in various locations. Rehearsals and performances will follow current recommended CDC safety protocols.
Auditions are open to those 18 and over. We are seeking 3 women and 4 men to portray twelve roles. The roles of Angelique and Cleante will require a capella singing.
Please record a video of no more than two minutes of a comedic monologue. For the singing roles, please include a short singing audition as well (two minutes maximum).

Submissions will be accepted until Friday, May 21.
